Handwritten Card Template & Instructions

INSTRUCTIONS

• Make a card or use one you have to handwrite a note

• Drop off just the cards (leave the envelopes at home)

• Please do not include personal information (we have a follow up plan in place)

• Pray and ask the Lord what encouragement or prayer to include!

• Please include truth spoken in love (example below)

UPDATE: Due to the guideline for Project H2O to continue to operate in the hotels, please:

• Avoid religious symbols on the card

• Use “God” in place of Jesus

• You CAN say you “prayed” for them as you pray

• Our goal is to build a bridge to further conversation about spiritual things (including the gospel during the follow up)

Hi there,

I prayed for you specifically today. God knows you would be the person who would receive this card! He wants you personally to know---

 (Include some basic truths as you feel led. Here are some ideas)

-God knows you and sees you

-God loves you

-God is not surprised by what is going on in the world today and he will turn it to good for those who love and obey him.

 (Ask God to give you special encouragement for who will receive your note. If you want to include a verse, please write it out. Many people do know have or know how to find a verse in the Bible).

(And please end with:)

“I know these uncertain times can lead to fear and anxiety.  How have you been during this time?  Have you found God to be close or far away in this time of isolation? We want to hear from you!  Email us at truesourceofhope@gmail.com
